Tight (1975-82) Renagade(85-93) & Rhythm:::
(99-00)
With fondest memory of family friend, fellow musician
and founding member of Rhythm:::
From August 23rd of 1999
until August 25th of 2000 the heart and soul of Rhythm::: came about and
formed the sound that has carried on to this day. Only those of you who were
there to see and hear it could truly know the fire that raged in the sweet
musical licks sparking in the fingers between Jeff and JR. We miss our long
time friend and extended family member, Mr. Loosely Tight him self JR Lomeli.
This talented friend and musical genius, has taken his life on the first day
of June and will be playing for the Heavenly Angels tonight. We are deeply
saddened for his sweet wife and three great children and two precious grand
children We have missed him since he stepped out of the band in 2000 to return
to old commitments. Our family both musical and other have lost a great
friend. His incredible gift of music
and friendship will remain with us all. Please contact Paul and Joanne or
Sherree to share your feelings. All who knew him were blessed
by his touch. His sprit lives on in our hearts and sounds forever.
Thankful to
have known him, Rhythm::: members fans & family.

special ways of sharing many good
and some not so good times with us.
We truly will miss his earthly
presents, our Cozmic Coyote and his
childish grins. Roy was an
auto painter until his son Alex's
illness forced him to retire. He
had many hobbies, among them
mountain biking, trail blazing, riding
Harley-Davidsons, touring with classic cars
shows and rockin' your socks off

playing drums in his Classic rock

but strongly believe he is certainly
still with us in higher dimension. His
wife Penny remembers so many
wonderful hours of
enjoyment they shared. Free
performances for toy runs and benefits
all the time. He played his drums for Stress Relief
since spring of 1996 when life long friend
Paul invited him to join with, Gerry and Timbo
forming this crazy group of 'Looney
Tuners' called Stress Relief. Always enmeshed
in activities it was hard to
say where he might show up next but
be sure he was busy every moment
living life to it's fullest. Bless him and all who grieve,

He was
a wonderful husband to his sweet
wife Penny and father to his
two adult children and
had a very giving heart; he
supported many charities through his
life. The charity dearest to him of
course was
the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which
granted a wish to his son Alex. Roy
never forgot those who where near
and dear to him and his. We are
honored to be considered closer than
family.

Bill Tarsha called to report
the recent death of Wally Granowski, who lost his battle with diabetes
at the age of 54. Granowski, for whom the Phoenix blues club Warsaw Wally's
was originally named, had been living in his native Rochester, New York for
the past 20 years.
Granowski opened what was
perhaps the first all blues club in Arizona in 1977. Warsaw Wally's is still
in business at the same location on Indian School Road in Phoenix.
Opening a blues club in '70s
era Phoenix was a risky proposition, but Granowski loved the music and put his
faith in two local bands, Midnite Blues (featuring current leader Jimmy
Peyton, present Rocket 88s leader Tarsha, and the late drummer Roger Rotoli)
and Drivin' Wheel (with bassist Susie Tarsha and guitarist Nancy
Dalessandro). These two bands later evolved into the Rocket 88s, becoming the
house band at Wally's for many years.
Granowski sold the club to
current owner Lee Hall and partner Ed Edwards in 1981 in order to move back to
Rochester.
